You can organise your tags by grouping them in a way that will make your reporting even easier (Media and Tools only). You can add, edit, group and delete tags under your profile.
Where to go to manage your tags
Click to expand ‘Settings’ on the left-hand navigation and click ‘Tags’.
How to add a tag group
Step 1 – To add a new tag group click ‘Add tag group’ at the bottom of the screen. If you want to create separate tag graphs in your reports this is how you create them.
Step 2 – Enter your new tag group’s name and click ‘Save’. The name of the tag group will be the title of the graph in your reports.
How to add a tag
Step 1 – Click on the green ‘+’ next to tag group you want to add the new tag to.
Step 2 – Enter your new tag’s name and click ‘Save’.
How to move tags between tag groups
Any tags you add directly to articles are automatically created and added to a default tag group called ‘Topics’. If you want tags to be grouped together on separate tag graphs in your reports this is how you organise them.
Step 1 – Click on the grey arrow next to the tag group to show the list of tags in that tag group.
Step 2 – Click and hold on the left hand side of the tag you want to move. Drag the tag into the tag group you want to move it to and drop it.
How to edit tags
You can edit tags – this is handy if you need to rename existing tags.
Step 1 – Click on the grey arrow next to the tag group to show the list of tags in that tag group.
Step 2 – Click on the tag name you want to edit, makes your changes and click ‘Save’.
How to delete tags
Step 1 – Click on the grey arrow next to the tag group to show the list of tags in that tag group.
Step 2 – Click on the ‘X’ next to the tag you want to delete. This will remove the tag from any articles it’s been added to.
